Welcome to the Discussion!

22 Sep

We learn better in community—where we can sharpen our thinking on the wits of others and soften others’ challenges with a supporting smile. But with our modern society pulling us in more directions than we have body parts, how do we make community happen?

The North Highlands Bible Church Women’s Ministry would like to invite you to join us online each week as we walk through the process of growing more like Christ. You may follow this blog by email and receive new posts in your inbox or just come visit when you can. We hope you will find the weekly summaries helpful, and that you will add your comments and questions to the mix.

The theme of our ministry this year is “Purses, Pearls, & Prayer: Discovering the Beauty of Friendship and the Wisdom of God’s Ways.” Together we want to learn to seek God through prayer. We will begin next week by reading the first chapter of A Journey to Victorious Praying: Finding Discipline and Delight in Your Prayer Life by Bill Thrasher.

Welcome to the discussion.

Buy the book online
or from any bookstore near you.

The book is available for Amazon Kindle for around $7.
Kindle software is free for all formats; PC, Ipad, you name it.
I know, i love the smell and feel of a real book, too…BUT… having a dictionary that pops up, internet for looking up details and being able to copy and paste into notes…well. i am addicted.
Now if i can just buy that new book smell.
